The weekly ESPN Power Rankings have emerged and as if the hype machine was not cranking hard enough already on Clemson’s program it been turned up yet another notch by the “experts”. If a preseason coach’s poll of 9th wasn’t doing it for you, an ESPN #7 Power Ranking might just put you over that edge. Currently there is a Clemson sandwich between the Missouri (#6) and West Virginia (#8) Teams. I would say all of this hype is really getting to me, but I have still been able to resist the cool aid. Only a few weeks left until we all discover if the hype is well deserved, ESPN seems to think so…

The Astro Theater is closing its doors after 40 years of discount service to students and families in Clemson. I know that once the big theaters popped up towards Anderson on exit 19B that I frequented them more often but the Astro was always a good fallback for rainy days and the local date (after the relationship was established of course!). I was usually impressed at the frequency of releases to the theater so soon after major release as well.

All good things must come to and end……even if they did have coke sticky floors and cockroach problems that just added to that horror film something is crawling up my leg effect!

Clemson vs Alabama in the helmet clash and Clemson holds a slim lead at 51 to 48%. Let’s beat them virtually and then physically in 25 days!!!
