Don’t bother pinching yourself

Clemson just beat Boston College for the first time since they entered the ACC. A feat that was beyond former Clemson coach Tommy Bowden’s grasp by literally field goals. The team seemed to have found a new rhythm. I am in no way saying that the passing game was great as Cullen somehow found a way to throw the ball directly to the other team 3 times (ok, he did have one heck of a fake for a running TD). But the defense opened a solid can on Boston College and were able to keep the Tigers in the game long enough to win it. Luckily, Ron Cherry was ravagin the Miami / Virginia game, because if he was in Chestnut Hill he would have completely dismantled Clemson’s attempts at overturning calls such as Aaron Kelly tiptoe TD and the fumble after Deandre McDaniel literally split a WR in half (on a side note, I hope the kid is ok as any fractured bone is not a good thing).

Oh well, the ACC is all F’d up and anyone can win this thing. Clemson is a long shot but I have to say that it feels nice to win a game like that and get some hope back in Tiger Town.
