We got an email from Skippy yesterday about the loss of third starter Michael Hamlin due to his broken foot (no offense Skippy, but we were all over it, even if we hadn’t posted anything.)
However, in bad infomercial fashion I’ll add, “BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!”
Starting cornerback C.J. Gaddis, who often looked lost and out of position against Boston College, has a hurt foot and can barely walk. Koenning isn’t expecting him to play against the Seminoles.
Bandit Gaines Adams, who has played well in spurts, has a slight separation of a shoulder and didn’t practice Monday. He isn’t expected to practice the rest of the week and his status for Florida State is 50-50 at best.
Of course Waters is out due to his torn ACL from the FAU game and Billie is out with his broken leg. The Scout article linked above has a good rundown of who may end up where.
FSU is also having injury problems on defense. Starting defensive tackle Paul Griffin tore a ligament in his knee last weekend. “Second team defensive tackles Emmanuel Dunbar (back) and Letroy Guion (right ankle)” are also out.
