Clemson-South Carolina Point Spread

The powers that be in Vegas have made Clemson the favorite by 2.5 to 3 points.

I’m surprised that we’re favored all. So therefore I must conclude that their is either: A) a lot of easy money to be made, or B) USCe is really, truly, horrifically awful.

ACC Point Spreads and betting lines: A side project

I’ve noticed that search engines do not do a particularly good job of capturing up-to-date point spreads. I’m also continuously interested in finding ways to try to beat the odds in hopes that I can, with a minimum of risk, gamble my way into wealthy retirement. Combined, these forces led me to begin a side project whereby I make projections, predictions, and comments on the state of ACC sports and provide the lines and point spreads you are looking for.

The UNC-Clemson line

Vegas has the spread for tonight’s game set at Clemson +4.

North Carolina is #4 in both polls, #5 in the Sportsline RPI, and #2 in the overall Sagarin ratings.

Clemson is #19 in the AP, #16 in the Coaches poll, #9 in the RPI, and 7 in the overall Sagarin ratings.

Sagarin’s predictor rates UNC at #1 with a 95.25 value. Clemson is #16 in the predictor with a 87.31 value. Even giving Clemson the 4.31 home advantage, North Carolina is favored to win.

Anything can happen, but damn I wish we didn’t have to play teams just as they come of upset losses.

Early Clemson-South Carolina Point Spread

Palms says Clemson by 4.5. Stratosphere has us by 6. The over/under is 43. As always, you can check all the line movements at VegasInsider.

You may now return to speculating about the coaching career of Steve Spurrier.

Clemson - NC State point spread

I’ll be taking NC State +17 please.

Thank you.

Look at those lines move!

The Clemson-Maryland line opened at 15, which I thought was quite generous. It’s now up to 20 in some casinos.

This guy knows how Maryland feels.

Rodney Dangerfield gets no respect. Neither do the Maryland Terrapins.

Is there something going on that I don’t know about, or do the gamblers just expect a good old fashioned ass kicking?

If you want to see the fearless prediction of a game that is unlisted, leave a comment and I’ll get right on it.

Does anyone actually expect Miami or GT to be victims of an upset at home? Me either. But that’s what the computer says and I’m sticking to it.

Last week I correctly picked Maryland, VT, UVA, & BC to win their games. I mistakenly picked NC St. & Miami to lose.
