Down goes UVA
Lawtonfunk and I can relax because the Tigers took care of business tonight against Virginia. It always feels good to beat UVA.
The bad news was apparently the first half. The good news was the 2nd half. The final score shows a convincing 75-57 victory. The win guarantees Clemson a winning conference record for the season. That’s certainly nice. It will be nicer if the team can beat Wake Forest on Sunday.

Sykes was a beast in the first half and a big part of waking up our team. We were trying to get it to the post guys (Booker) more often and forcing it a bit, but hey, we practiced against an inferior opponent. Rivers had a bad game. I feel for him. Purnell let a walk on Senior start the game. The OP is a class act.
UVA had 3 technical fouls. Needless to say, they were a little emotional.
It was nice to watch us get our groove back.
I liked the aggressive play style that the team ran in the 2nd half. I have been an advocate for this all year, but a team that can consistently do damage in the paint is 5 times better than a team that trys to hurt you with long shots. And finally Raymond and Grant were able to dish it out, it was fun to watch.
