- Kyle Stanley is near the top of the leaderboard at Sahalee Players Championship. He’s tied for 2nd after 3 rounds at 3-under and just one stroke behind the leader. Stanley is the defending champion. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer has a good write up.
- Things are looking up for the linebacker corps. Billie, Clay, and Watkins should be ready to go this fall. Billie’s academics look to be in shape. And Clay was in town for first summer session while attending voluntary workouts.
- Spiller is back on campus. Wait. What? What the fuck?
Clemson fans can officially relax: C.J. Spiller is back on campus.
Clemson officials confirmed Thursday that the talented sophomore tailback has returned to Clemson from his Lake Butler, Fla., home and is enrolled in the second session of summer school classes.
Should I have been nervous for the last 2 months? I’m getting good and sick of this shit. I’m reckoning that the media is just riding a wave that formed months ago. But if I’m wrong and Spiller really is this wishy-washy, then I’m starting to wish that he’d go somewhere else.
I’m with you on that one…if he wants to go play for Florida and get no playing time, more power to him. We only wants guys who really want to play for us. I have a Tiger Time magazine and in the interview with him and JD, Davis seems a lot more excited about playing for us. I wonder why Spiller even came to Clemson to begin with?

Let’s not fall into the media hype. This is a prime case of some lame reporter trying his/her damndest to drum up a story in the middle of summer. Please don’t let that translate into ill support for a kid that is just 20 years old with a family. Let’s all leve the kid alone. I for one have something better to do with my time than to get all up in arms over what some third rate sports reporter has to say about a lame out-of-date story anyways. Please excuse me, I now have to go wash and comb my gnome beard.
Yeah I hope that’s all it is. Spiller seems like a good guy and if it’s just some reporter trying to start some stuff I would like to have his address so I can give him a stern talking to.

Spiller has been in Clemson all summer, I have seen him reguarly at Paws diner, along with at Off-campus resdience pool. The whole deal is overblown and dumb, just a reporter with no news
