Homer beware

In prior times it was favorable to say that one had pulled a “Homer” when someone did something outrageously stupid. It seems that our own Clemson Tigers are vying for a similar terminology with their past two major sports seasonal performances. As mentioned in THIS ARTICLE Clemson fans are getting used to the “hot out of the gate raising expectations beyond all valid hopes” starts only to reach the “I lost my girlfriend and my dog got hit by a car drunken stupor rage” finishes. From now on it might be said that one can coin the phrase: “You pulled a Clemson” when one does meet their expectations or just flops after a great start. As mentioned in the article, baseball is still early and I hope that they are not cursed as they are #2 in the land right now. Or maybe everyone should just point out that you can’t spell Clemson without LEMON, yeah that hurts.
