The next year Bayern lost a heartbreaking Semi Final to Real Madrid after crushing them in the Group Stages. Finally in 2001, Bayern knocked out Manchester United in the quarterfinals and Real Madrid in a repeat of the 2000 Semis. All along that Bayern team had unbelievable self belief and focus taking one game at a time. For Clemson, VTech and BC represent those revenge ties. But GT comes first.
