CJ Spiller will not be going to the Heisman awards ceremony. He won’t even be considered. Somehow, tebow made it on the ballot….again…..despite a horrible end of a season in which his Gators barely eeked out wins. Needless to say, the national media is grumbling about the selections this year when you leave someone as dynamic and team dependent as Spiller off the ballot.
Throw in the FANTASTIC (RE: FUCK!) bowl selection and you have to wonder what flying pile of dog droppings Clemson was hit with over the past 2 weeks.
Loss to South Carolina – check, but we are going to the ACC Championship!!
Loss to GT….again – check, but hey we are 2nd in the ACC and will get a good bowl pick
Bowdenized bowl picks – check, ok Seriously WTF!! How do you expect to recruit with this SHIT!
Spiller completely ignored from Heisman watch – Sorry CJ, we really wished you could have fulfilled your dream season with a championship and a shot at the Heisman but obviously Clemson just doesn’t carry the pull around here.
As I said over on Block-C: The football, to me, is dead this season.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see another deflated team loss to KY similar to the last Music City bowl in which the seniors didn’t care and were looking to the combines instead of on the field. Seriously…what’s the motivation any more?
Clemson controlled their own destiny and they blew it. The Tigers have had plenty of lucky breaks through the years, so I can’t feel too bad when it goes the other way. Maybe the team, and the fanbase, should expect the team to get some respect by earning it rather than leaning on an ACC championship that’s almost 20 years old and a national championship that almost 30 years old.
I’ve been wondering if we will phone in the Bowl game. I don’t know if CJ knows how to phone it in, but that doesn’t mean we won’t lose because the rest of the seniors don’t give a shit.
Since I screamed week after week… Tommy gotta go! I was hoping Dabo would bring the fire needed to get over the mediocrity… Glad for Cane and Nole wins… but you gotta beat Maryland and Techx2… ACC will never gain respect when the best of ACC can’t beat Georgia when its down and South Carolina… repeating Music City (toilet bowl) 2006 will be the deathnail on the ACC… definately was fun to watch offense this year, but defense killed them.
