Gaines Adams wins the ACC defensive player of the year award. Didn’t see that coming or anything. Now for CJ to get the ACC rookie of the year. At least some good is coming out of the season.

Regretfully Riley Skinner has already tabbed ACC Rookie of the Year honors, but my gut tells me its a moot point. For Clemson to have back to back ACC Rookie’s at running back would have been insane. I think that althought Riley may be a consistently good quarterback, better talent will arrive throughout the conference, ultimately keeping him off the All-ACC ballots for the remainder of his eligibility. Willie Korn and CJ Spiller, here we come – we hope.
