Odds are….
That all the media outlets are picking this to be Clemson’s melt down game. There is an abundance of calling the Yellow Jackets over the Tigers in one of the old fashioned GT Clemson 3 point throwdowns. I hope that Tommy has this posted all over the locker rooms, because if you add this to the “one game at a time” mentality you might as well put an APB out on the Tigers Saturday when they take out their under-appreciated but well disciplined aggressions in Bobby Dodd Stadium.
As for me, well it all depends on Tashard Choice. If he can find his way through the D line, then it will be a long night for the Tigers. Redemption is in the eyes of the Jackets with the national exposure of last year still stinging and a team that “has nothing to lose” is like a cornered wolverine: very dangerous.
Clemson starts out slow as they figure out the Tech D but come out in the end by 10. 27-17
Bowman Notes:
Choice has been suffering from a hammy strain. He missed the 4th quarter against BC and the last 3 quarters while UVA was upsetting the Jackets. He will be back for our game as he will play and looked good in practice according to Gailey. I doubt he will be any where near 100% as those injuries can be nagging and aggravated easily. I have a feeling we will see the QB tossing it around quite a it to soften the line for Choice, not the other way around. I do have some of the same fears as Clem regarding a team with little to lose but I think the newfound offensive balance with Harper will keep the GT D guessing and keep Choice and company off the field.
