Yeah, I agree. Great article! Let's hope that the Tiger Nation can really continue to get these guys pumped EVERY GAME! As a LONG TIME supporter of Tiger Athletics, I have said for years that TB's issue was motivating his players for EVERY GAME! We should be playing every game as if we are Duke, not knowing when the next win will be coming. We do that, and it is going to be a great year full of exciting football in the Valley! Go Tigers!

I liken the quarterback situation to that of the Chargers a few years ago. Phillip Rivers was the golden boy and Drew Brees was the unwanted incumbent. I think Cullen Harper is the reason for the Tigers' success for reasons that have nothing to do with his play onfield. His indifference to the Willy Korn hype is most representative of the attitude of this group, and that's great to see.

Michigan State has a new coach and he has the same goal as Tommy, getting team to play the whole season, one game at a time. He talks about wanting his players to overacheive.

Clemson seems like this too ... incredible athletes but they don't play out of their minds and win big. I've seen it said they play "down" to the other side. I hope the renewed focus on getting the job done pays off.

Excellent article. I certainly hope the Tigers mindset is just as you describe. If it is, I look forward to the entire season, VT included.

This is true as well but I was mostly going for the new mindset that the team seems to have.

Perhaps the concern is that Clemson isn't beating the crap out of these teams and these teams aren't all that good?
