What is this I am feeling? After a solid win against Maryland, Duke and now Wake, there is a feeling brewing in my gut and it’s not the chili I made for dinner last night. What could this possibly be? There have been so many years, so many seasons gone by since I have experienced this sensation. I can’t believe it, but the tigers have shown something to all of us the past few weeks, and I am following their lead. I am saying this for the first time in years. I have total confidence in my Tigers. I have confidence in the outcome of this coming game Saturday evening. I have confidence in my fellow fans in that they will bring their loud lungs for yelling. I have confidence in every member of the team. I have confidence that Harper is a better QB than Ryan. I am confident that our D is for real. There is no better D to play a passing team like BC than the number 2 ranked passing defense in all the nation. That’s right, there is only one team in the nation with a better passing defense…Rutgers (I know it surprised me too). I am confident in our program right now, in our entire coaching staff, that this will be a game we will all remember and that we have so much more to play for than BC. Last season, after the GT game, Clemson was riding high. It was a wonderful time to be a Tiger. This year the stage has been set, the time is this coming Saturday, and last season will not even compare to the good times this program will experience when we walk out of Death Valley with a win. I am sure we can wow you with statistics and tidbits of info from the win the team just achieved against Wake, it doesn’t matter. A win is a win, especially in the manner Clemson pulled it off. This was more than a win, this Clemson team showed itself to be a rumbling orange juggernaut with the real desire to play in a BCS game. I say with utmost stout confidence, bring on BC. Bring on USC. Bring on Jacksonville. The way this team is playing, the way they are carrying themselves, they are ready and I have every ounce of faith in their abilities. It is a great time to be a Clemson Tiger. I will see all of you under the lights in Death Valley Saturday night. Save your voices…

I refuse to speculate on the outcome of the game for fear of jinxing it. That I can’t wait is all I’m going to say.
