Speaking of official. From VPI&SU's official web site.... www.vt.edu....

Heck VPI&SU is the 5th best engineering school in the conference, using "Tech" in the name is just marketing BS.

College? If you're going to work that hard to puff yourself up, you really ought to correctly identify GT as a university.

"Home of the '96 Olympics?" That's stretching it. Next you'll tell me that the GT student body is 75% women, of which 99% are at least as attractive as Erin Andrews.

The P in VPI stands for "polytechnic," not "polytechnical."

Also, I might actually have some sympathy for your argument if I ever heard anyone actually use the name "Poly" for Virginia Tech on a regular basis, or if <a href="http://ramblinwreck.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/sched/geot-m-footbl-sched.htmlofficial GT websites didn't refer to Virginia Tech as Virginia Tech.

Sorry cheif, travel north of God's Country and Tech goes either way until you cross the NC/VA border and no questiosn asked it's VT. Am I arguing the credentials you laid forth...no, just stating the way it is outside GA and the ATL. By the way, I know you guys housed Olympians and they used a few venues on campus, but can you say you were the home? I think the city in general gets it though having GT there helped with existing facility concerns during the selection process.

There is only on Tech. The one that is a top 5 engineering school, has 4 national titles, home of the '96 olympics, SEC/ACC titles, home of legendary coaches Heisman, Dodd, and Ross.
The other place is Virginia Polytechnical Institute and State University, aka VPI&SU or just "poly" for short.

Seriously, as mentioned in THIS ARTICLE, Clemson should have nothing to worry about in VT's offense.

WELL NO DUH!!!

It's Clemson's offense that we are worried about!! GT's longest scoring drive last weekend was 11 yards. Not too much offense there either. I have no problem with VT offense, it's their Defense that has me worried.
