We could call it Whitiesucks. Rap music should be made mandatory over the loud speakers during any break, at all sporting events, not just football and if the players request, during the actual plays. Has anyone else noticed that the state of South Carolina has two primary state Universities that seat 80K+ for most every football game as well as filling their arenas when the basketball teams are competitive and place baseball teams into the super-regionals on a regular basis while filling those stadiums. And who are those fans supporting in such grandeur? Typically African American athletes, and in Clemson's case an African American Coach who is gaining more and more support as he is improving the quality of our team both on and off the court. Now for the knuckheads at the NAACP, who else is taking youths from areas traditionally poorly educated areas in the rural south and giving them the opportunity to get an education while playing sports they love at a minimal expense. This same thought applies elsewhere as Ole Miss and their Rebel Mascot catch hell from these folks all the time too. I don't see it happening in the Northeast. They are all watching Pro sports and could care less about the kids running around at the college level. So the plan is to attempt to punish some of the biggest fans in the country whose love of college sports and whose enthusiasm and embracement of the athletes on the field generates opportunities for these same athletes, who ironically are typically the same people your organization is trying to help. As the folks at a certain brewery would say: Brilliant! The best part is, the flag doesn't even fly on the state house any longer but on a monument to those in a war long ago fought by people that actually had believes and stood up for them. A far cry from the self ingratiating blowhards that claim to have cause other than creating a name for themselves and fight their battles in courts with other blowhards. As a ignorant transplanted yankee I know and have heard all about the "pride not prejudice" and "heritage not hate" crap on the flag. Take the flag down, it's a matter of personal views and if you want the flag you can wear it or fly it. But when I live in the state and "ignorantly" see it as representing a blemish on our nations history and it isn't even in the states flags, such as Georgia, take the thing down. I am not siding with the NAACP, God knows I like them almost as much as I like ACLU, but this is not going to end. They do not win, you do not lose and everyone comes out looking better. They get their internal moral victory but what does it prove......nothing, and we get the financial rewards. Suck it up. What a bunch of crap.
