No one expected a 9 or 10 win season, yet we raise hell when we just miss out. Instead of being pissed and saying Bowden isn't firing the team up enough, maybe we should step back, be thankful we get a Peach Bowl bid, and look forward to being a year ahead of what everyone was expecting without leaning on an underclassmen QB. He will now be that much more experienced in the system when his time comes, and therefore more capable to lead the team. Given the way his D got ripped to start the season (and didn't really dominate all season), I think it would be hard for him to land a top dog gig anywhere just yet. BTW, Gus is at Tulsa as the O.C. and was the head coach at Springdale HS in Arkansas, where all the recruits that stirred up the Nutt mess that ultimately led to his firing came from. I have serious doubts, regardless of his offensive abilities, that he is a legit SEC head coach at this time. The guy at Michigan is someone I am not familiar with.
