Walker’s Wandering Thoughts of Wisdom, Part 1
For those of you Tiger faithful which did not make the game this weekend, here are a few random thoughts on the game. Some are football related, others are not.
- The first game parking situation was much better than last year, maybe because there were 15,000 empty seats.
- It was military appreciation weekend. As always it was a moving halftime, but a very disappointing pre-game, there was no fly over…
- It was my first time in the upper deck, not too bad. It was also the first time I have ever jumped up and shown touchdown, all while CJ still had 30 yards to go and three defenders after him. You can really read the running angles up there.
- The upper deck is closer to the Sun, this is why we get so sunburned up there.
- Is it just me or is your tailgate now worthless if it is lacking a 30” LCD TV and Direct TV?
- Cornhole is apparently cool now. See thought above…
- I think IPTAY secretly installed 10 new subwoofers behind the scoreboard. I could feel my seat vibrating at one point in the game. Death Valley has never sounded that good.
-Students are still jumping around to Zombie Nation on kickoffs, I guess that’s ok.
-I miss Thunderstruck on kickoffs, sigh.
-Will the Rally Cats ever change there dance to the fight song at the start of the fourth quarter?
-Jamie Harper has made up for his fumble last week, end of discussion.
- Was this the same Citadel team that scored 31pts on a #7 Wisconsin team last year? If so, I guess we had a good showing.
- A lot of people hate IPTAY now because everyone thought they would have great seats if the gave more money this year.
- The O-Line still make me nervous.
- There were no black shirts or upside down Clemson flags to be seen.

Nice entry, I like the format, especially as I was not able to make the game. As for Cornhole…..you might as well pop your collars, it’s that cool.
- I hate cornhole, always have, always will.
- I captured some videos using my camera. Hopefully I’ll get some highlights uploaded in the next day or two.
- What was up with those refs that, with the benefit of instant replay, managed to give Citadel an extra down in the 4th quarter? [Look at Citadel's 4th first possession of that quarter and you'll notice two consecutive 3rd and 4s.]

I am converting to the bean bag game. Mainly because it seems I have a bit of skill at it for a newcomer. I will say the the ability to talk smack to the other team is limited with only one person being next to you. It may be becasue I have to find another game to beat people at as teh beer pong crowd has decreased significantly.
My seat ended up being Upper Deck North, Section N, Row T . . . which means I was on the 25 yard line, but high enough that I might as well have been on the 50. You really do get to see the whole play up there. It’s kind of cool.
