Pat Forde over at ESPN.com sums it up pretty well. You can read the article here but this is the gist of it. We were RPI#1 at some point in December. We are probably out of the RPI top 40 after today. We’ve suffered the greatest meltdown of any program, from what is now known as the BCS conferences, in college basketball modern history. I shouldn’t complain, clearly progress is being made, but it sucks to get “Clemson’ed” again. James Mays picture on the cover page of the site (it will be gone on Friday, don’t fret) with the title “Tourney Trouble” tells the boys what most everyone knows. Don’t worry about packing a bag next week with those dancing slippers. Just hope the waxer is ready in Littlejohn for the NIT. Watching the Selection Show also not recommended, unless we are gluttons for punishment, but alas, I digress.
